Meeting with Local Council re Lochend Terraces Notice Board Thursday 4.15pm

Dear All

Following a discussion today with Carol Duncan from the Leith City Centre Neighbourhood Office of the ECC, we are having a meeting with her this thursday 17th February 2011 at 4.15pm. So please come along. Main points are where exactly do we want it and what its made of. She is recommending aluminium but I think i prefer wood. Also Ali any chance of just having it on your parents house? She makes it out that its quite a straight forward process of just getting it put up. Amazing.

I don't think any of the Tibbitts keen on the idea of putting it on our wall. Sorry. Would probably be best at the end of a terrace where there was no window looking onto the street?

If it needs to be free standing it would probably have to be a metal one, I reckon. Might get away with a wooden one, if it were wall mounted.

Hi I spoke to the tenant of the flat wre there is no window looking on to the street. The landlord don't want to have their walls nailed incase of water leak etc. But free standing one is ok. So hopefully the Counil person can come back to us and give us further suggestions to where we put the free standing one.
