This is just a reminder to every one on Greener Leith Social to join the Greener Leith campaign on Facebook to move the Paolozzi sculptures on Picardie Place by the front of the cathedral (a foot, a hand and a piece of vertebra) to the foot of Leith Walk. Their creator, the sculptor Eduardo Paolozzi (1924-2005), was born and grew up in Leith, so there is some point to it beyond 'the Foot to the Foot' pun. It would also be a relief to get rid of that meaningless piece of pointy blue metal, the Horn. Please share with us your suggestions (publishable, mind!) as to who might be the recipient of this much-maligned artifice. Also I would be intrigued to know who its creator is/was.
