Tesco Duke Street Delivieries

Hi,

I've been asked to raise this on behalf of one of the newest members of Greener Leith. She lives on Duke Street and says:

I live in Duke Street. The new Tesco opened on September the 20th on Duke Street. Since this date they have been having very loud deliveries
between 1am-3am.

I have complained to the store manager, wrote to Tesco and contacted the council but they are still continuing to deliver at this ridiculous hour.

I have barely slept in two weeks, it's either very hard to get to sleep or they wake you up the small hours of the morning with their noise disruption.

Is there anything you can do to help?

Sorry I missed this posting last week but was aware of the issue and have written to both the Chief Executive of the Council and to Tesco. I find it hard to believe that the Council does not have powers given action they are able to take against noise from buildings.
