The Greener Leith Social was set-up by Greener Leith as an extension to our existing website. We see it as a place where anyone with an interest in Leith can get together, share information, have fun, debate things, and perhaps solve some neighbourhood problems together.

In an age when everyone is really busy, and sometimes people don't find it easy to meet the neighbours, we hope this site, in a small way, will help to maintain that wonderful Leith community spirit.

If you like the idea, then please join in the discussions, add photos, discuss stuff that matter to you and so on. We don't run this site on a commercial basis, and the ads that you see help to keep it free for everyone. We'd like to have enough money to pay our platform provider to remove the ads - so if you like what you we're doing, please do join Greener Leith. It only costs a £5 and if enough people join we'll be able to invest in making it even better.
