Traffic-free Shore was blissful while it lasted..
Due to road works we recently had a couple of traffic-free weeks down at the shore. Wow. How amazing was that. It felt so peaceful and calm and you could actually hear the birds on and around the water. It felt like this is how it is meant to be. Now the road works are gone and the traffic hell is back. A massive articulated lorry thundered along the Shore at 6.30 this morning and that is just the start of it. Pretty soon it will be back to a non-stop stream of noisy traffic.
